Technical Manager/Inspector
Airship Ventures has two openings for a Technical Manager/Inspector. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, the TMI is responsible for managing all airship maintenance activities in accordance with Title 14 CFRs, including Part 91 operations, to insure the safe and efficient operations of all airships operated by Airship Ventures. In the start up phase, the TMI will be responsible for establishing the maintenance facilities and working with the DFO on all relevant policies and procedures.
A job description can be found here. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years experience in airship maintenance and have spent at least five years in progressively senior roles. Current A&P and IA endorsement required.
The successful candidates will be required to travel to Germany to begin a course of 80 hours theoretical and simulator training, followed by several weeks on the job training with the Zeppelin airship in Europe prior to the airship arrival in the USA.
