Ground Crew
Working under the direction of the Ground Crew Chief, the ground crew is responsible for the safe and efficient ground handling of an airship. This includes preparing the airship for flight, operating ground support equipment, lifting and moving items quickly (minimum of 40 lbs), interacting with passengers, and maintaining and transporting numerous support vehicles.
You must be physically fit, willing to work in all weather, and be comfortable performing work at heights. You must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work different shifts. We will consider a variety of fields of experience but all candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Hazmat and passenger endorsements. Military aviation experience is strongly preferred.
Travel is required to support airship operations and ranges from short day trips to extended trips that can exceed 30 days. We operate out of airports so exhaustive security and background checks will be conducted. We also operate in a drug free environment, and random drug and alcohol testing may be required.
A benefits package and uniforms are provided. Starting base salary is $19.23/hour, depending on experience, with an increase upon successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.
